Client Acquitted of Sexual Assault after Trial - Assault Charges Stayed by Crown

Our client was charged with Sexual Assault and 7 Counts of Assault Causing Bodily Harm against his former partner. At Trial, a thorough cross-examination of the Complainant revealed several inconsistencies in her story as well as a motivation to lie. Our client was acquitted of the Sexual Assault Charge and the Crown stayed the remaining Assault Causing Bodily Harm charges.

Client Found Not Guilty and Acquitted of Fraud Under $5000 After Trial

Our client was charged with Fraud Under $5000 after two Complainants identified him through a Police Photo Line Up as the man who had defrauded them. At trial, after thorough Cross-Examination, our client was acquitted due to Crown failing to prove our client's identity as the person who defrauded the two complainants

NAP for IRS Fail Cancelled after Saferoads Alberta Review

Our client received a NAP for an IRS Fail for Impaired Operation resulting from a vehicle collision as well as fleeing from the scene. Upon being retained and filing for a review of the matter, we outlined that our client was not advised of his right under the Traffic Safety Act to a Roadside Appeal. The decision-maker sided with our argument and cancelled the NAP

Conditional Sentence Order (CSO) granted for Multiple Counts of Fraud Over $5000 & ID Theft

Our client was charged with over 25 counts of Fraud and Related charges stemming from an investigation into over ~$150,000 worth of vehicles being purchased with fraudulent identities. Our office was able to negotiate a 2 year CSO with the Crown and were able to convince the Justice that such a sentence was appropriate in the circumstances.

Crown Stay of Proceedings Mid-Jury Trial for Sexual Assault Charge

Our client was charged with Sexual Assault after an encounter with a woman back in 2024. The Client elected to be tried by Judge and Jury, and Trial proceeded at the beginning of 2026. After thoroughly preparing and cross-examining several Crown witnesses, the Prosecutor elected to Stay the Proceedings midway through Day 3 of the Trial.
