About Jatin

Jatin brings a competitive edge and a global perspective to his legal practice. After pursuing his legal education in Australia at Bond University, Jatin graduated in 2022 and successfully navigated the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) process to begin practising in Canada.

Jatin's practice is built on a foundation of strong oral advocacy. During law school, he distinguished himself early as a semi-finalist in the prestigious David Strangio Moot and later as a finalist in the CLSA's NHL Arbitration competition.

Practice

Today, he leverages those skills across a broad range of practice areas:

• Criminal Defence — robust representation for a wide range of charges, including complex jury trials and successful defences against impaired driving charges under the SafeRoads Alberta regime.
• Family Law — guiding clients through separation and divorce, parenting arrangements and child and spousal support, and acting for applicants and respondents in Emergency Protection Order proceedings.
• Real Estate — assisting clients with the legal intricacies of property transactions and financing.

Jatin is a versatile litigator with trial experience and appearances before both the Alberta Court of Justice and the Alberta Court of King's Bench. He has represented clients in family, criminal and traffic matters, ensuring their voices are heard at every level of the provincial court system.

Outside the office

When he isn't in the courtroom, Jatin is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys playing ice and ball hockey, hitting the golf course, and exploring new cultures through travel.
