Milan is a Partner at Verdicta LLP, Co-Lead of our Criminal Team and Team Lead for our Traffic and DUI Team. Milan's practice also includes family law and wills and estates.
About Milan
Milan's academic journey began with a focus on legal studies, completing a Bachelor of Commerce from MacEwan University in April 2021. Shortly thereafter, he obtained his real estate licence in Alberta in June 2021. Milan then pursued his law degree abroad, graduating from Bond University in Australia in August 2023. While at Bond, he served as the Marketing Director and Treasurer for the Canadian Law Students Association (CLSA) in 2023.
Practice
Milan was called to the Alberta Bar in July 2025. His primary practice areas are criminal law, traffic law, and wills and estates. Milan has appeared before both the Alberta Court of Justice and the Alberta Court of King's Bench on a range of criminal, family and traffic matters, and has assisted senior counsel in criminal and family trials in both courts.
Community
Beyond his legal career, Milan is actively engaged in the legal community as a member of the South Asian Bar Association (SABA), where he joined the Marketing Committee in 2024.
Outside the office
Outside of work, he enjoys playing hockey, golfing and travelling — pursuits that reflect his commitment to maintaining a balanced and well-rounded lifestyle.
